The table is very nice and perfect for a smaller sewing room like mine. I purchased it at a local quilting shop. One caveat, though, is that you should not try to assemble this if you are not experienced at assembling complicated pieces of furniture. I read another review here before I bought it and realized it would be best to have someone else put it together, so I called my handyman who is also a contractor. It took him two and a half hours to put it together, but he did it flawlessly and had no problems along the way. It is very well made, and everything fit together as it should. My handyman is very critical of anything that is substandard, and he was impressed with this table which made me happy. It is level and can easily be rolled to other areas of the room. I love the table!

The Dixie cutting table is an amazingly sturdy product. I can cut my fabric without the table moving allowing me to cut effortlessly and straight. I was able to adjust the table to the perfect height eliminating the back fatigue that I experienced previously using my kitchen table. The best part is that it while it closes up to a small foot print, it does open up to a generous work space so I can lay larger pieces of fabric out and easily cut LOF and the more common WOF. The shelves are excellent for keeping my rulers close at hand. A few things I would mention. When assembling the table, using a power screwdriver is nice, so if you have that, use it! Second, I did use my own Allen wrenches, they were easier to handle. And last, there are adjustable pads on top of the swing out legs, these are great for leveling the side leaves with the center providing a flat work area. I am a 62 year old female quilter and I love this table!
