Installation instructions were poor at several points. Similar screws should be packaged separately to avoid using wrong screws... two 1" and four 1-1/4" black screws were packaged together. Even though we inventoried the hardware before starting, by the time we got to that point, we did not notice the difference and accidently used longer screws, which resulted in damaging the top surface. Top back piece is installed with cam locks in, but bottom back is installed with cam locks facing out or platform holes do not line up, which is not clear in the instructions. The obvious assumption is that they would be the same. Installing the adjustable platform so it remains level (flush) with cabinet top is futile, it is just not supported well enough by the wings. A number of predrilled holes did not quite line up with the supplied hardware. The piece for the doorstop was so flimsy it does not screw flat, it is slightly wavy, and screws do not pull it tight against the door. The instructions for adjusting the flatbed position were completely inadequate. Quilt leaf does not slide as it is supposed to, the top leaf interferes when open. Attempting to slide it, damaged the edge of the leaf (gouged a line in it). Overall fit and finish and build quality is barely adequate. Note from Arrow Sewing: This cabinet has been discontinued and replaced by a new model with better construction and instructions. Check out the Harriet cabinet.
