Hi Samantha! Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience with our height-adjustable hydraulic chairs. We love the height-adjustability feature, too, because it helps you get into the right ergonomic position to keep sewing for hours and hours without neck, back, shoulder, and wrist fatigue. Because everyone's body is different, we try to hit that "Goldilocks" spot with our high-density cushioning that works best for most sewists - not too soft, not too firm, but just right. Occasionally, some sewists do experience a bit of "seat fatigue" after an extended period at the sewing machine. Sometimes that can be alleviated by adjusting the height of your seat just a little bit, up or down, to make sure your knees and hips are at a true 90-degree angle when you're seated at your machine. We are always looking for suggestions for improvements to our products and are glad you reached out. Love my Arrow hydraulic chair, except the back support was too thick, so I had it altered by an upholsterer replacing the original foam with 2" foam, keeping the original fabris and it is perfect, so comfortable. It was an additional cost but well worth it!

Oh my stars what a chair, it gives you the support you need where you need it. I like the hidden compartment, put my sewing machine guide in it and my secret stash. Love the colorful fabric and the hydraulic raiser. able to use at various table heights. this is my third purchase. I have classes in my home having these chairs makes it so much nicer and easier to move around. Roll from table to table. what a great investment.
