I bought the gray Kangaroo and Joey cabinets with a Kiwi bonus. I absolutely love it. The store I bought it from assembled it completely for cheap. A bonus. We just had to get it home and upstairs to my sewing room. The top drawer of the main cabinet is still a little stiff and not soft closing. yet. My sewing machine foot pedal does get caught under the back inside of the cabinet and sews on its own, so I have to figure that out. I had no idea how ergonomic it can be with the lift and acrylic insert. Tonight, I pulled it out and set the table together and it will work, as lots of space. Still working on organizing and I bought some bins. I should have bought this sooner. Worth every penny to have such a great set up.

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could because I don't want to draw down the average. I decided to assemble this myself and I wouldn't recommend that if you have old knees and hips like I do. Bending and kneeling became difficult but I got it done. I received 1 broken and 1 incorrect part but they were replaced right away. The customer service is awesome!! The reason for my 1/2 star rating is that the instructions had some mistakes and weren't easy to follow in some areas. But again, I got it done. I am so excited to get started sewing with the cabinet - it looks great and I know it will be very functional.

I absolutely love my new Kangaroo and Joey cabinets! They are so well built instructions were very good. So much space for all my needs and sewing quilts. One more plus is how nice it looks and works , soft close drawers, easy lift for my machine . Very pleased customer

Hi Valerie, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The Joey has such large, generous drawers, designed to hold heavy loads! The hardware has to be able to stand up to those heavy loads and years of use. You'll find that your drawers open more easily the more weight they have to hold, and they will loosen with time and use. Regarding cabinet breakage, it is true that our cabinets are constructed from high-quality medium-density fiberboard, similar to what you’d find in many modern kitchen cabinets. We stand behind our products with a lifetime limited warranty. If one of your heavy-duty casters or a panel on your cabinet was damaged, please contact customer service for assistance and a replacement of any broken parts – including damaged panels! Looking to make a purchase. Is the white of this item a true clean white?

Hi Cheryl! The soft-close drawers can be a little tight at first. To help them open and close more smoothly, make sure the casters are locked and try wiping the drawer rails down with a little bit of WD40 on a rag or paper towel. Once you start using the drawers, the tension of the soft close mechanism will start to loosen up and become easier to use. I purchased the Kangaroo/Joey combination in hesitation of having to put it together my self. I spoke with Lynn who explained all the features and even sent me a video on the lift as that seemed the most intimidating. I purchased through Cut up and Sew in Palm Coast (if in that area, another great place with great customer service). I did take several weeks to get it in but well worth the wait. I am 57 years young and unloaded (not recommended if you have back issues) and put together the Joey II, Kangaroo II and the kiwi all by myself. Instructions were very clear and easy. It did take some time, but everything went together perfectly. Once together I did notice a bend in one of the arms of lift (was working fine). I sent a picture to inquire about it and even though I said it was working, they sent out a new one on the spot. I received it within a week and nervous about the installation (as product is already put together) Luis sent me an email with video and I replaced it with no issues. If you are questioning a possible future purchase, I can tell you it is well worth investing in a nice sewing cabinet. I love my kangaroo cabinet with Joey. I just finished my first quilt on it and I was amazed at how much easier it was to sew. There pieces were precisely drilled and cut, all hardware and parts were included, and I was able to put it together myself. I am a bit of a DIY-ER but I am also a 66 year old woman. If you are not accustomed to this type of furniture and handy with power tools you should probably pay someone to put it together.

I love the cabinet and was extremely impressed with the detailed but easy to follow assembly instructions. Your customer service reps were super helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend this product and your company to anyone and everyone.

If I could give this cabinet ten stars, I would. From the beginning of the purchase process--a conversation with Lynn, who guided me to the cabinet that was just right for my quilting needs--to the end--receiving the custom insert that fits my machine perfectly--I have been SO impressed with the Arrow company. The Kangaroo and Joey were delivered much faster than I expected (within the week, in fact). My husband put them together for me. Other than a couple of minor glitches that were easily remedied, he had no trouble assembling them. The cabinet is made of high quality materials, extra hardware was provided (which we ended up not needing), and the instructions were very detailed with good illustrations. The cabinet fits me so well that I don't even think about maintaining good posture, because it happens naturally. I am looking forward to many years of sewing in my transformed space.

This cabinet is outstanding in every way. I breezed through the assembly, which is no small feat for a little old lady. It was such a plus having all the hardware labeled. The metal drawer runners are terrific as is the machine lift mechanism. No plastic.👏. Kudos Arrow! Well done!

The kangaroo and Joey arrived very well packed, and was fairly easy to put together. Everything fit and everything arrived as it should. I love my new Joey and Kangaroo and I’m really excited about getting back to sewing.

My wife is really enjoying her new Kangaroo II and Joey cabinet. She puts the Joey to the right side and that allows her to slide her chair between her sewing machine on the right and her serger that is on the left side. She puts a small ironing board on top of the Joey and can easily sew, serge, and press seams all without having to get out of her seat. BTW, the Arrow sewing chairs (her's has the button design) are the perfect sewing chair. It supports your back higher than other chairs and angles you slightly forward which is how you sit at your machine anyway. I thought they were a high priced gimmick at first, but after the store owner had me sit in one, I was sold and so was my wife. No gimmicks. Great chair !! Don't forget that you will need to purchase an insert for your sewing machine in order to use it at table height. The insert is specific to your machine and is not included in the price of the cabinet. We had some problems with the Joey cabinet wheels which are not well designed in my opinion. They easily break out of the bottom of the cabinet (which is only particle board). Particle board is not easily repairable. I have a comment and repair suggestion on the Joey cabinet page if you are interested. We purchased our cabinet and chair from a reputable sewing center who assembled the cabinet for us. My wife is very happy to now have a versatile and efficient sewing setup.

My wife has a Kangaroo, Joey, Dingo, and Arrow sewing chair and loves them all! She finally has her own sewing space. Because of her sewing room size, the Kangaroo was great since it did not have doors or top leaves to swing out and take up space. The finish on the cabinet is very durable. She purchased two separate inserts for her two machines (definitely need to get the inserts to fill the gap around the machine). Assembly was easy, but did take a few hours. The online videos really helped!
